Parent Coaching & Groups

Looking for parenting support? Explore whether a group or one-on-one parent coaching would fit your needs. I offer parent coaching, and groups for parents of anxious kids, and parents of neurodiverse kids.

When your kid worries, so do you. Helping your child navigate big, scary feelings is tough, and can often make you feel overwhelmed or stuck. This virtual parenting group is a safe space to share the challenges of parenting anxious kids and learn evidence-based strategies to support them.

Next group will be starting in September 2024!

Virtual Group: Parents of Anxious Kids

  • Topics include anxiety’s impact on the mind and body, practical skills, problem solving with other caregivers, and building confidence in parenting. This group uses the SPACE protocol, Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions.

  • Developed by experts at the Yale Child Study Center, SPACE teaches parents how to change their own behaviors to help break the anxiety cycle, and respond in ways that strengthen their child’s ability to cope. Often, parents may overly accommodate to a child’s anxiety, which isn’t helpful long term. Instead of avoiding anxiety-provoking situations, you’ll learn new ways to help your child face their fears.

To learn more about SPACE, feel free to check out this video with Eli Lebowitz.

Day and Time: Time and start date will be finalized upon registration.

Format: Sessions are held virtually, providing flexibility for caregivers to join from the comfort of their own homes.

Group Size: Up to 5 families per group

Cost: Fee covers 8 sessions for up to 2 caregivers for one child. Payments must be submitted via Paypal.
